A full bloom!

The first thing in my mind when I woke up this morning was to check out my water lily. It was about 8.00 a.m before I could really stretch my eyes wide open and get off my bed. Well, what do you expect on a Saturday morning. I just wished to laze a little longer in my bed and hugged my honey pies but I know I can’t afford to do that. I have to prepare Ryan for his music class.

I took a peep from the glass door but was puzzled to still see a bud instead of a blossom. Why hasn’t it bloomed?

Again, I stared hard at the flower bud while feeding my guppy fishes. Will it bloom? I proceeded to feed our koi fishes. The sight of the fishes gulping the pellets diverted my mind away for a while from thinking about the flower. As I drove out at about 9.00 a.m to meet my parents for breakfast before heading for Ryan’s music center, I took another peep at the plant and told myself to be patient again.

We arrived home at about 11.30 a.m and were finally being greeted by the stunning beauty which took my breath away.

The stunning beauty!

The stunning beauty!
